Once, it was a thoroughfare leading from my home to the international airport and beyond to any corner of the world. Following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the airport shuttered, and all road signs were painted over for safety and deception, aimed at confounding potential invaders. Now, these signs no longer guide our way, serving as a poignant reminder of the profound uncertainty that has enveloped the lives of all Ukrainians. We speed along an unfamiliar road towards an indeterminate future, unsure whether we will ever reach the destination.
